La Porte Online School Application for 2025-2026 School Year

La Porte Online School is an online school for students in grades K-12. Our education partner, Edmentum, provides online instruction with Indiana-licensed teachers. Families partner with La Porte Online School to ensure student academic success.

Those wishing to enroll in the La Porte Online School should complete this form. Selection is based on a completed application, a review of the student’s academic and attendance records, and, most importantly, the family’s commitment to support the student’s academic progression of grade level standards and/or credits from their chosen online classes. *Seniors (Class of 2026) will need to make a commitment to stay with LP Online School through graduation.

Please confirm acceptance and responsibility of the following La Porte Online School guidelines:

  • I will monitor my student’s academic progress and maintain close communication with the teachers and staff of the La Porte Online School.

  • I commit my student to be placed in the Online School for a minimum of one semester.

  • I will provide my student transportation to and from school for required in-person testing/activities.

  • I will provide access to reliable WIFI daily during school hours for my student.

  • I will provide my student with a secure and safe study environment.

  • My student will be attending the required live lessons.

  • I will check my email and make sure my student checks their email every weekday.

  • K–5 students only – An adult will be available to support the live lessons with my student.

  • I understand my student and I must attend an intake session (virtual or in person).

  • I understand my student and I must attend an orientation meeting (virtual or in person).

  • I understand that my child will be required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of school work each week.

  • I verify that the information I have provided on this application is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Additionally, if enrolling after the start of the semester, I am aware the following will take place:

  • Any grades or course progress completed at my student's current school may not transfer.

  • My student will begin the semester over and still be required to complete the 18 weeks of coursework by the scheduled end of the semester.

  • My student's schedule and course options may change from the current schedule due to the options in the La Porte Online School.
